Veterinary Surgeon – Surrey (Full or Part-Time)
GVC are assisting an independent veterinary clinic in the Guildford area in their search for a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team.
Located just 10 minutes from Guildford town centre, this modern, independent practice opened its doors in 2022 and has quickly built a strong reputation for providing exceptional care to pets and their owners. The clinic is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including:
- Digital X-ray
- Laparoscope and Endoscopes
- Ultrasound
- Multiparameter monitoring equipment
- Dental machine
- In-house laboratory equipment
- The practice provides its own out-of-hours service, which is shared equally among the team, ensuring a high standard of continuity of care.
The Role
- Full-time or part-time hours available to suit work-life balance
- 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday 8:30–16:30, Sunday 9:30–12:30 with evening on-call)
- 1 night on call per week
- Bank Holidays are shared fairly across the team
- You’ll be joining a supportive and friendly team currently made up of 3.5 Vets, 4 RVNs, 2 VCAs and 5 Receptionists, all dedicated to delivering high-quality veterinary care in a collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will be:
- An enthusiastic and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident in general practice, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about providing the best possible care to patients and clients
