Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent (Fixed-Term Contract considered)
On-call: 1 in 6 second on-call rota
Join our equine team in the Surrey Hills
Equivet is seeking an additional Assistant Equine Ambulatory Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team. This opportunity has arisen as one of our long-standing vets begins maternity leave, giving you the chance to step into a well-established role within a collaborative practice.
Based at Nodwood House Equine Clinic in Churt, Surrey, you'll be working in the heart of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The practice benefits from an excellent location, offering the best of both countryside and town living. You'll be less than an hour from the South Coast, within easy reach of the South Downs National Park, and only a short train journey from central London, making it an ideal base whether you enjoy outdoor pursuits, vibrant towns or city life.

About the role
You'll be responsible for providing high-quality ambulatory veterinary care to a diverse equine client base, working alongside experienced colleagues in a practice that encourages collaboration and professional development.
We're looking for a vet who is confident managing a varied caseload and who is keen to continue learning and developing their skills.
About you
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
- MRCVS (or be eligible to register)
- Experience working within an equine ambulatory role
- Confidence managing a varied caseload
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- A collaborative approach and a positive attitude
- A commitment to providing high standards of patient care
