SURREY HILLS - PART TIME SMALL ANIMAL VET NEEDED
Our lovely vet Rebecca sadly left the practice at the end of 2022. This is her account of being part of our team.
"Hunters Lodge is a lovely, friendly practice to work at. The only reason I am leaving this job is to move closer to family otherwise I considered it a long-term job.
The practice is a small independent practice in semi-rural area. It has supportive client base, who want the best for their animals and are prepared to listen and work with you to achieve this.
The staff at Hunters Lodge know the clients well and back you up with your clinical choices as well as supplying the personal information that will help you communicate with the clients. The practice rarely has any issues but if it does, they are dealt with quickly.
The practice is well stocked with equipment and any request is considered and usually acted upon. Since I started the practice has gained a new ultrasound scanner, tonovet, new prep room table and light as well as other useful equipment
Helen and Grant are always available for back up if needed, whether it be in person or by phone. They were very supportive during the lockdowns and protected the staff well.
The support staff and nurses are amazing. Many of the nurses come from the referral background so are highly experienced. But they also work well as a team, supporting each other.
I can highly recommend Hunters Lodge."
We would like to find a vet to work 2 to 3 days per week. No OOH work. 1 in 5 Saturday mornings. No Sunday opening.
