Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role where you can fully utilise your clinical skills, work up interesting cases and be part of a progressive independent practice?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a highly regarded independent veterinary hospital in South West London. This role offers the chance to work within a well-equipped, forward-thinking environment, supported by an experienced team, advanced facilities and visiting specialists across multiple disciplines.
This position would suit a confident vet who enjoys managing cases from initial consultation through to diagnosis, treatment and follow-up, whilst contributing to the continued growth and success of an ambitious independent practice.

The Role
This is a varied position suited to an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is confident managing both medical and surgical cases.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing cases from first consultation through to diagnosis, treatment and follow-up
- Medical work-ups and ongoing case management
- Inpatient and hospitalised patient care
- Performing a range of routine and advanced soft tissue procedures
- Dental radiography and dental extractions
- Diagnostic imaging, including ultrasound
- Maintaining excellent clinical records
- Providing exceptional client communication and care
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the practice
About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- MRCVS registration
- 3+ Years of small animal practice experience
- Confidence managing cases independently
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience working up both medical and surgical cases
- Competency in soft tissue surgery
- Experience with dental radiography and extractions
- Ultrasound experience, including emergency and abdominal scanning
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong clinical record keeping
- A proactive and collaborative approach
- Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for contributing to the success of the practice
