Veterinary Surgeon | Primary Care with Surgical Focus
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum D.O.E.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, 4-day week, 1 in 8 weekends (with 2 days in lieu); minimal on-call due to dedicated ECC team

About the Practice:
GVC is assisting a dynamic, independent hospital-based veterinary practice offering both primary care and advanced referral services. The hospital has a multi-disciplinary team including specialists in cardiology, ophthalmology, oncology, surgery, ECC, and neurology.
Facilities include:
- CT scanner, ultrasound, and x-ray suites
- Extensive operating theatres
- Dentistry suite
- Fully equipped laboratory
- 24-hour emergency services (managed separately from GP work)

The Role:
You will join a team of 13 Veterinary Surgeons and work across the main hospital and consulting-only branches.
The role offers:

Requirements:
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon (or eligible to register)
- Confidence in all GP areas including surgery and medicine
- Surgical Certificate or actively pursuing one is preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Positive, can-do attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Organised, flexible, and committed to high standards of care
