We are looking for a confident Vet to join the friendly team at Willows Veterinary Centre in the heart of the North East, convenient for both Sunderland and Newcastle. The role will primarily be based at our newly refurbished small animal practice at Boldon, with one day per week, sole charge, consult only, at our South Shields practice.
Willows Veterinary Centre, recently moved to a new, purpose-built hub at Boldon Business Park. The Boldon site has 4 consult rooms, 2 theatres, prep rooms, a dental and x-ray suites as well as a quiet room.
The practice has modern diagnostic facilities to help treat and monitor your pets from digital radiography, ultrasonography, dental radiography, in house laboratory and have recently started performing laparotomy spays.

Though we don't have capacity to support a New Grad, for those who've newly passed their VetGDP, and are confident in neutering/lumpectomies in cats, dogs and small furries, our team of 5 vets and 7 RVNs will be on hand to support your further development. We are equipped to offer emergency care during opening hours, but there is no out-of-hours requirement with this role as our clients have access to Westway Veterinary Hospital in Newcastle for any ooh situations.
More about the role:
• Full time position, ideally with 37.5 hours over 4 days, between the hours of 8.30am and 7pm, though part time options would be considered
• 1:4 Saturdays; 9am – 3pm
• No OOH
• Visa sponsorship considered
• Salary range of £40,000 – £55,000 (Full Time Equivalent), depending on experience
