Veterinary Surgeon – No OOH & In-House Certificate-Holder Support – North Hertfordshire – Up to £75,000 FTEA modern small animal site where you’ll work alongside certificate holders across several disciplines, with no out-of-hours work 🌟
About the practice
- Modern first-opinion small animal site within a well-regarded multi-site group.
- Wide range of facilities and equipment.
- Certificate holders on the team in:
- cardiology
- feline medicine
- soft tissue surgery
- orthopaedic surgery
- So there’s real support on tricky cases.
- Friendly, collaborative team of vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists.
- 12-month fixed-term contract.
- 30–40 hours per week, full or part time.
- No OOH.
- 1 in 6 Saturdays.
- The role can be shaped around your clinical interests.
- Ideally 2+ years’ small animal experience.
- Strong medical knowledge.
- Experience in routine and emergency surgery.
- Good communication skills and a passion for client care.
- Up to £75,000 FTE, depending on experience 💷
- No OOH.
- RCVS and VDS fees paid.
- CPD allowance and fully funded postgraduate certificates.
