GVC are assisting an established practice looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly, supportive team. With a strong focus on clinical development, collaborative working and providing the best possible care, this is an excellent opportunity for a vet who wants to make a real difference.
The Opportunity
- Salary up to £70,000, depending on experience.
- Ideally full-time, with part-time and flexible working options available to discuss.
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 9am–2pm.
- A varied caseload offering a great balance of consultations, routine surgery, dentistry and medical case management.
- Visiting specialists in orthopaedics and ultrasonography, giving you opportunities to expand your knowledge and develop your clinical interests.
- Access to additional clinical expertise through a sister practice, with monthly clinical governance meetings to share knowledge, discuss cases and learn from colleagues.
- CPD and certificate support to help you progress in your chosen areas of interest.

About You
We’re looking for a confident, enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys being a true all-rounder and is comfortable with routine surgery.
You’ll ideally have:
- RCVS registration and at least 3 years’ UK veterinary experience.
- Confidence in routine surgical procedures, consultations and general medical case management.
- A flexible approach to shifts and a willingness to support the needs of the practice.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on client and patient care.
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to the team’s development.
