Veterinary Surgeon – 4-Day Week & Fridays Off | Central Bedfordshire | 1:6 Weekends Up to £60,000 DOE | Full-time | 4-Day Week | Fridays Off | 1:6 Weekends Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a varied first-opinion role with a great work-life balance? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive, partner-led practice in Central Bedfordshire. This role would suit an all-rounder Vet who enjoys a broad first-opinion caseload, values working as part of a close-knit team and wants to play an active role in the continued development of the practice. The Role You’ll join an experienced team providing high-quality care across a varied first-opinion caseload. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills while working in a collaborative environment where your contribution is valued. Your responsibilities will include:- Consulting with clients and providing high-quality first-opinion veterinary care
- Performing surgery and managing a varied caseload
- Developing tailored treatment plans
- Providing compassionate care to patients and their owners
- Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team
- Maintaining high standards of clinical and regulatory compliance
- Sharing your knowledge and supporting the development of colleagues
- Contributing to the ongoing success and development of the practice
- 1 in 6 weekends
- A fair share of Bank Holiday shifts
- Participation in an on-call rota supporting the wider 24-hour service
- Confident working across a varied first-opinion caseload
- Comfortable with both consultations and surgery
- A strong communicator with a client-focused approach
- Collaborative and supportive towards colleagues
- Keen to share knowledge and contribute to the wider team
- Committed to maintaining high clinical standards
- Up to £60,000 per year DOE
