GVC are assisting an independent veterinary clinic in South East London that is looking to welcome an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to its team.

Whether you enjoy building relationships with clients, managing interesting medical cases or getting stuck into surgery, you'll have the opportunity to make the role your own while being supported by an experienced clinical team.
✨ The Role
You'll play an important part in delivering outstanding veterinary care, with responsibilities including:
- Providing high-quality medical and surgical care to small animal patients.
- Managing consultations, diagnostics, treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Carrying out routine surgery, with opportunities to develop your surgical skills further.
- Working collaboratively with a supportive team of Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses.
- Building lasting relationships with clients through clear communication and compassionate advice.
- Managing a varied caseload while maintaining excellent clinical standards.
- Contributing to a positive team culture where everyone is encouraged to share ideas and develop their interests.
- Participating in a shared weekend rota.
We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is passionate about their work and committed to providing the best possible care for their patients.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience working in small animal practice.
- Good medical and surgical skills, with confidence in your clinical decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
- The ability to work well within a close-knit team.
- A genuine interest in developing your clinical knowledge and skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for animal welfare.
