Veterinary Surgeon – Cardiff, South Wales | Full-Time | 12-Month Maternity Cover
GVC are assisting a well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal veterinary practice with three branches in and around Cardiff. The practice is looking for a dedicated and friendly veterinary surgeon to join the team for a 12-month maternity cover.
The role involves a mix of consulting, surgery, and inpatient care across the main hospital and branches. Inpatients are kept under onsite nursing care, and a local out-of-hours provider covers overnight calls. The practice is modern, first-opinion, and fully equipped.
Key Details:
- Full-time, permanent maternity cover
- Four-day week (40 hours) with a 1-in-5 Saturday rota
- 20-minute standard consultations with dedicated admin time
- Clinical freedom with senior support always available
- No out-of-hours work
