Flexible Vet / Lead Vet Role In Reputable Warwickshire Practice
Warwickshire, United Kingdom
My client is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-established and growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexibility, variety in clinical work, and the support of a strong, long-standing team that prides itself on its friendly and collaborative atmosphere.
The successful candidate will join a team of 6 vets, 8 nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse, a Veterinary Care Assistant, 7 receptionists, and a dedicated Practice Manager. The Owners have grown the practice significantly over the past seven years, developing a supportive and close-knit team of 26 who deliver outstanding care to their clients and patients.
The practice is bright, spacious, and purpose-built to industry-leading standards. It is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house blood machines, ensuring clinicians have the tools they need to provide the highest quality of care. A wide range of interesting medical and surgical cases come through the doors, giving excellent scope for both clinical development and caseload variety.
My client is ideally looking for a Lead Vet or an experienced Veterinary Surgeon confident with all routine surgical and medical cases. Interests in specialist areas will be welcomed and supported, and while experience with exotics is desirable, it is not essential. The practice already manages a diverse range of cases and undertakes more specialised procedures, offering a great environment for someone wanting to develop their skills further.
This is a full-time role with 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday 9am–5pm and Sunday 10am–4pm), but the rota can be flexibly arranged to support work-life balance. There is no sole charge and no OOH.
My client can offer:
Salary up to £80,000 (DOE)
5.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays, increasing with service
An additional day off for your birthday
Flexible rota with no OOH
Funded CPD and certificates, with full encouragement for further development
Paid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS)
Contributory pension scheme
20% colleague discount, plus exclusive company rewards and benefits
A supportive and friendly working environment with access to colleague assistance programmes
This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet who wants to step into a supportive, forward-thinking environment with the scope to develop their career, shape their role, and enjoy real flexibility.
