The Role:

This first opinion practice is on the lookout for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them by Joining their professional, personable team at their practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathizing, putting patients and clients first, always.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience. You must have a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further.

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

The practice has a very experienced team, who are exposed to a variety of cases on a day-to-day basis. Their spacious premises comes well- equipped with facilities such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, orthopaedic theatre, and the practice also offers nurse-led clinics five days a week. Their well-established veterinary practice frequently sees exotic cases and experience a high surgical caseload including orthopaedic surgery. You will work alongside an Advanced Practitioner in Surgery; an experienced orthopaedic surgeon who is highly skilled in advanced surgery. They are proud to offer an orthopaedic service for pets in the local area.
