Flexible multi-site role. Highly skilled clinical team. Genuine work-life balance.
If You Are Ready For A Role That Gives You Variety Without Chaos
If you are craving clinical stretch but do not want to sacrifice your evenings, your boundaries, or the feeling of being part of a team that truly has your back, this might be the change you have been hoping for.
The Opportunity
We are working with a respected multi-site practice in beautiful Warwickshire that has built something rare: a calm, well-supported environment where vets can progress their careers without burning out. They are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys variety, values collaboration, and wants the freedom to shape their week across two or three sites.
This is not a gap-filling role. They want someone who enjoys continuity of care, appreciates experienced nursing support, and is keen to bring their strengths to a team that genuinely encourages individuality. With minimal out-of-hours, structured days, and a leadership team that listens, you will have space to breathe and the confidence to grow.
You will be joining a large and knowledgeable vet team supported by nurses with advanced qualifications, plus a hospital hub that gives you access to imaging, CT, laparoscopy, hydrotherapy, and a wide range of complex cases. You will not feel stuck or limited here.
Why This Role Is Different
A Clinical Caseload That Helps You Grow
- Access to a central hospital with CT, digital x ray, ultrasound, laparoscopy, hydrotherapy, and everything you would expect from a well equipped surgical team.
- Cases across orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, cardiology, dermatology, feline medicine, ophthalmology, acupuncture, chronic pain management, and more.
- A team of around 30 vets, including multiple certificate holders who are generous with their time and expertise.
A Team Culture That Makes Work Feel Lighter
- A genuinely close knit group that looks out for one another and makes wellbeing a visible priority.
- Dedicated night vets providing 24 hour care, meaning your routine days stay predictable.
- Regular team events and small touches that matter, right down to celebratory ice cream van visits.
Flexibility That Works Around Your Life
- 40 hour week across four days, with part time options available.
- Minimal out of hours and predictable scheduling.
- Ability to tailor your work across two to three sites, designing a rhythm that suits how you work best.
A Lifestyle Location
- Warwickshire offers countryside walks, historic towns, excellent schools, and quick access to Birmingham and London.
- Ideal if you want balance: vibrant yet peaceful, connected yet community driven.
Your Journey Here
In Your First Month:
You will settle into the rhythm of the different sites, learn the systems, and build relationships with a wide team that is genuinely invested in helping you succeed.
In Your First Three Months:
You will be managing a varied caseload confidently, leaning into the support of experienced nurses and certificate holders, and beginning to shape your role around the areas of medicine you enjoy most.
In Your First Six Months:
