An excellent opportunity has arisen for a small animal Lead Veterinary Surgeon/ Veterinary Surgeon to join a wonderful team in West Lothian, Scotland. Working on a range of caseloads including orthopaedics, soft tissue cases, dentals, consults, endoscopy, laparoscopy, radiology, and general surgery. Should you have a passion for the clinical side but would relish the opportunity to lead the team, the practice can also consider a Lead Vet Surgeon role, where you will also take part in management meetings, lead the clinical team working alongside the clinical director in practice and mentor the younger colleagues. This is a permanent, full, or part-time position working 40 hours per week across 4 days with 1 in 5 Saturday mornings (8:30am-1:00pm) however the practice will consider a 5-day week, part-time or job share. Well-equipped with both flexible and rigid endoscopy, ultrasound, and digital radiography. You will be joining a welcoming team made up of 5 full-time Veterinary Surgeons including 2 Graduate Vets and a Clinical Director who has a certificate in small animal practice and can provide Western Acupuncture to patients. The Head Veterinary Nurse is joined by 3 RVN’s, 3 SVN’s and 2 Animal Care Assistants.
