This is an excellent opportunity for a Vet to join this fabulous team in the West Midlands.
This role is full time working 4 days per week with a shared 1.5 in 7 weekend rota, with time back in lieu. There is no out of hours, as there is a dedicated night team for this.
You will work as part of a team of Vets across all the branches, reporting to the Head Vet. You must be confident offering high standards of service for clients through examination, medical and surgical treatment of animals.
The team is large, there is 15 Vets, 30 nursing and 10 admin associates supported by the Clinical Director, 2 Head Vets, a Clinical Nursing Manager and Practice Manager.
The role could be tailored to your interests boasting a comprehensive range of ophthalmic and orthopaedic equipment or a large exotics caseload for those interested. They would very much welcome applicants with an internal medicine, imaging or exotics bias.
One of the branches is a 24-hour emergency hospital, which is well-equipped to deal with a large range of operations from routine neutering to exploratory laparotomies. The 24-hour site allows exceptional patient care and case follow through, enabled by the internal lab with great testing scope (cortisol, bile acids, blood gases, ionised calcium, in house culture and sensitive testing ect).
