GVC is recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon on behalf of a locally owned standalone small animal practice in the West Midlands. Monday to Friday only, no weekends ever, and a salary up to £65,000 with a genuine Senior Vet development pathway.
About the practice
Locally owned, over eight years in the community. Owners are both experienced surgeons with certificates in progress and held. Stable, happy team with low turnover. High proportion of insured clients. Working towards zero pain accreditation. Equipment includes dental X-ray, laparoscopy, endoscopy, Kyon TPLO kit, harmonic scalpel and K-laser.
The role
Monday to Friday. No weekends. At least one op day per week. Well-managed diary with catch-up slots and time for notes built in. Set weekday off, early Friday finish one in three. Bank holidays on rota. Senior Vet pathway available. Flexible full or part time.
