We’re working with a well-established, independent-minded small animal practice in the South East that’s on the lookout for an enthusiastic and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team.

🏥 About the Practice:

This is a busy but friendly small animal surgery, offering high-quality veterinary care with a loyal and engaged client base. With around 30% of patients insured, you'll have the scope to work cases up thoroughly and to the highest standard.

Facilities include:

• Digital X-ray
• Ultrasonography
• In-house laboratory
• Separate dog, cat, and isolation wards

👥 The Team:

You’ll be joining a fantastic and supportive team of:

• 9 experienced Vets
• 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses
• Trainee nurses and dedicated reception staff

Several team members are currently pursuing certificates and clinical interests are strongly encouraged and funded.

🧑‍⚕️ Who We’re Looking For:

We’re looking to speak with Vets who have:

• 3+ years UK small animal experience
• Solid medical and surgical skills
• A team-first mindset and commitment to clinical excellence
• A passion for delivering high standards of care
• Your week will include a mix of consultations and at least one dedicated surgical day.

🕘 Working Pattern:

We’re happy to offer flexibility around your lifestyle. While full-time is ideal (40 hours), part-time options are available.

Typical shifts:

• 8:00am – 6:00pm or 10:00am – 8:00pm (only one late shift per week)
• 1 weekend per month: Sat 9am–6pm / Sun 10am–4pm
• No OOH, no sole charge

💷 Salary & Benefits:

• Salary from £50,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience)
