A practice that will take a consulting-only vet at up to £80,000. That does not come up often.
A well-established small animal practice in West Sussex, twenty minutes from Brighton, is looking for an experienced vet to join the team.
The role is genuinely flexible — consulting-only would be considered, surgical-focused works equally well, and so does a strong all-rounder. They are open to shaping the role around the right person.
Cardiology and ophthalmology are areas they are particularly keen to develop, but all clinical interests are welcome.
The nursing team includes vets from referral centre backgrounds who are well equipped to fully support surgical cases, so if surgery is your thing the infrastructure is in place. Around 35% of clients are insured, which means proper workups and genuine clinical freedom. The practice has been recently renovated and is well equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound and in-house lab.
One weekend per month. No OOH. One late shift per week maximum. Certificate support and generous CPD. Paid RCVS, VDS, BVA and ISFM memberships. £50,000 to £80,000 depending on experience.
