GVC are working with a busy, well-established 24/7 small animal hospital in West Yorkshire, seeking an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their advanced ECC team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a progressive environment that supports clinical excellence, ongoing development, and a collaborative team culture.
The Role
- You’ll handle a varied and complex caseload, with regular exposure to advanced ECC cases. As a night vet, you should be confident performing:
- Caesareans
- Pyometra surgeries
- Exploratory laparotomies (including enterotomy/enterectomy)
- Management of medical emergencies such as Addisonian crises, DKA and severe pancreatitis
- This role requires full independence with the above procedures and case types.
Rota:
- 7 nights on, 14 nights off
- 8pm–8am
- No accommodation provided
