Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon
Family-Run RCVS-Accredited 24/7 Hospital | 22 hours per week | Up to £60,000 FTE DOE
GVC is delighted to be partnering with a family-run, RCVS-accredited 24/7 veterinary hospital that’s expanding its clinical team and welcoming an additional Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a vet seeking true flexibility without compromising on clinical interest—benefiting from a diverse first-opinion and hospital caseload, excellent in-house support, and access to high-quality facilities and equipment.
The Role
- Part-time position: approximately 22 hours per week
- Two weekday consulting shifts, with flexibility across Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday
- Consulting shift options: 9:00am–6:00pm or 11:00am–8:00pm
- 1 in 4 weekends, supporting the hospital team with ECC, unwell inpatients, and emergency procedures
- Consult-only weekday shifts
- Varied caseload across first opinion, hospital work, and emergency presentations
- Salary: Up to £60,000 FTE DOE (pro rata for part-time)

Following a recent major expansion, the hospital has significantly increased its clinical space—allowing continued growth, increased flexibility, and an expanded range of services.
