I am excited to share a fantastic opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join my client’s team as a Clinical Director. This role offers the chance to lead a dynamic team and drive the clinical standards within a well-established and forward-thinking practice.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of taking on leadership roles, such as a Senior Veterinary Surgeon or Lead Veterinarian, with experience in managing complex cases. You should have experience in evaluating team performance, providing feedback, and competence in managing the day-to-day operations of a veterinary practice.
It is a full-time position working 4 days a week. There is a shared weekend rota and no OOHs.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the veterinary team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
- Regularly review clinical practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and implement improvements where necessary.
- Leading and mentoring the team to enhance clinical skills and professional development
- Overseeing patient care and treatment plans, providing guidance on complex cases
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and the community
