We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a vet to join our OOH team, working a share of Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday daytimes at a frequency to suit the individual. You'll be joining a dedicated team based within the Hale Veterinary Hospital in Chippenham.
About the Role
Under the welcoming, friendly support of a Lead Vet, we are seeking vets who want to embrace a fast-paced EEC role. You’ll work alongside an experienced RVN, VCA and receptionist, with additional vet and RVN support during peak periods.
The role will allow you to work a varied emergency caseload, whilst an emphasis on case development towards definitive diagnosis creates positive professional challenge and the inherent job satisfaction associated with delivery of excellent clinical care.
The Practice & Area
Based out of Hale Veterinary Hospital in beautiful Chippenham, you will be able to access all the state-of-the-art facilities. We are RCVS accredited and have ISFM Gold status.
The practice is very close to an M4 junction, as well as being 5 minutes away from the train station, making it an easily accessible hospital (for clients and team members).

- Salary up to £46.46p/h (dependent on experience)
- Dedicated OOH teams
- Sundays & Bank Holiday (days only) 8am – 7:30pm (will consider job shares for those wishing shorter shifts)
- Saturday 12noon to 8pm
- Holiday pay for 6.6 weeks holiday (inclusive of Bank Hols - pro rata) – time taken in non-working time.
