An established small animal practice in Wiltshire is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Veterinary Surgeon to join their tight-knit team on a part-time basis.
This role is ideal for a clinician looking to deliver gold-standard patient care, actively contribute clinical ideas, and help guide the practice into its next chapter. The practice boasts a loyal client base built over 16 years, alongside a long-standing team and a supportive, positive culture.
📋 Position Details:
- Working Pattern: Part-time hours (working shift times of 09:00 – 19:00). Flexible working patterns can be considered.
- Out-of-Hours: No OOH and no Sunday shifts.
- Key Responsibilities: Routine consultations, general surgical procedures, sole charge duties, and collaborating with the team to enhance clinical standards.
- Facilities & Equipment: Recently refurbished practice featuring digital X-ray, ultrasound, dental suites, in-house laboratory testing, and modern surgical facilities.
💰 Package & Remuneration:
- Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum FTE (depending on experience).
- Professional Fees: Paid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS).
- CPD: Generous CPD allowance with full certificate support.
- Additional Benefits: Relocation package available, AXA private healthcare, and income protection.
👤 Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with active RCVS registration.
- Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience with UK practice experience.
- Confident with routine consultations, general surgery, and sole charge work.
