Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a dynamic and supportive environment. With a strong focus on team growth and professional development, this role is structured to support an experienced vet with a broad skill set across consultations, surgery, and dentistry. You will be working alongside a collaborative and supportive team including 16 vets, with seven certificate holders and six currently pursuing advanced qualifications. This role would allow you to collaborate with specialists in cardiology, dermatology, medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, and both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.
The hospital is well-equipped, with advanced diagnostic tools including CT, a fully outfitted dental suite, and 12 operating theatres, ensuring vets have the resources to deliver high-quality care and work on a variety of cases.
This role involves a fair share of weekend work on a rota basis, with time off in lieu the following week, and the support of a dedicated overnight nursing team. Last weekday appointments end at 6:30 pm, offering a balanced schedule.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week with 1:10 full weekends and 1:5 Saturdays (with time back in lieu).
