Are you an experienced Vet looking for a permanent role with true clinical freedom, a supportive team culture, and no OOH or Bank Holidays? A small animal practice in Worcestershire is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their close-knit team.
This practice is proud of its team culture and provides a psychologically safe, relaxed, yet professional environment where everyone plays their part.
The Role:
- Status: Permanent
- Hours: 30–37 hours per week
- Rota: 4 days per week + 1:4 Saturdays (9am – 2pm)
- OOH: None! No On-Call and No Bank Holidays
- Salary: Up to £75,000 FTE (dependent on experience)
The Team & Environment:
You will be joining a fabulous team consisting of 4 FTE Vets, 6 RVNs, 4 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager. The practice works highly collaboratively, making it a cohesive and genuinely positive place to work. You will enjoy total clinical freedom to work up your own cases, alongside access to a strong local community of colleagues across a wider network of practices.
Key Duties:
- A mix of consultations and surgical procedures.
- Some sole-charge shifts.
- Supporting and mentoring vet students when they are on site.
- Maintaining high standards of clinical care.
About You:
- RCVS registered.
- Experienced and confident in general practice.
- Friendly, supportive, team-focused, and comfortable with a balance of consults, surgery, and occasional sole charge.
