Our client has an opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team in a new practice in Worcestershire, this is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new team in a purpose-designed facility. This role is ideal for an experienced and innovative vet who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and contributing to the growth and success of a new practice.
This Practice is opening in November 2024 and aims to create a warm, inclusive, and community-driven environment where pets and their owners receive heartfelt, individualized care. The clinic is centrally located, within walking distance of the town, offering a blend of urban access and a close-knit community feel.
As part of the start-up team, you’ll help shape the culture and standards of the new practice whilst working collaboratively to develop and implement frameworks to achieve business goals and high client satisfaction and bring strategic thinking to drive performance and foster a positive and cohesive team environment. You will provide in-patient care, perform general surgery, carry out consultations each day, ensure case continuity, build rapport with clients and deliver personalized care. You will ideally be confident in medicine and surgery, with support available from the Clinical Director and team network when needed. There will also be continuous career progression opportunities, including CPD and support for earning certificates.
This surgery is a purpose-designed 4000 sq ft facility including separate cat and dog waiting areas and wards, Isolation facilities, six consulting rooms, two theatres, a dental suite, and an imaging room a Bereavement room, modern, well-equipped diagnostics and surgical kit, enabling high-quality care. The practice design reflects a commitment to comfort and excellence in veterinary care, offering a feline-friendly and advanced surgical setup.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time role working 40 hours a week 8.30am – 7.30pm with a Saturday morning Rota. However, our client is also happy to consider a part-time role for the right candidate so please do let us know your preferences.
