A well-established, friendly small animal practice in Worcestershire is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its close-knit and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet who enjoys a varied caseload and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Working Hours & Rota
- 30–37 hours per week
- 3 or 4 days per week
- 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00am – 2:00pm)
- No out-of-hours or bank holiday work
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a mix of consultations and surgical procedures
- Undertake some sole-charge responsibilities
- Support and mentor veterinary students when required
- Maintain high clinical standards and patient care
- Manage cases with clinical freedom, supported by an experienced team
The Team
The successful candidate will join a collaborative and supportive team environment consisting of veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses, reception staff, and a practice manager. Teamwork and communication are central to the practice’s ethos.
Candidate Requirements
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident and experienced in small animal general practice
- Comfortable with a mix of consulting, surgery, and occasional sole charge
- A team-oriented and approachable individual
