BEVA is calling out to all time-strapped equine vets, nurses and students to join up for the ultimate antidote to the ‘all work and no play’ scenario:  BEVA Congress (13-16 September 2023 at the ICC Birmingham). Super early bird tickets are available until the end of May.

“With the exceptionally broad range of topics covered, the broad range of products on show, and the broad range of fun available on Birmingham’s infamous Broad Street, BEVA Congress covers every base,” said Dr Maisie Parsons who is an equine vet at Gilliver Vets in Lancashire. “It has been my favourite three days of the year since I graduated; I get my CPD sorted in a very stress-free way and get to see lots of my old vet school friends for some downtime fun too. What’s not to like?”

BEVA Congress is uniquely designed and produced by equine veterinary professionals for equine veterinary professionals, and this means the event delivers a pertinent and practical programme from a true equine veterinary perspective. It is an exclusive opportunity for horse vets, at any age or stage of their career, to catch up on CPD and catch up with old friends, with the perfect blend of professional and social activities.

BEVA Congress in numbers

·      90+ hours of live and on demand CPD

·      14+ hours of orthopaedics and diagnostic imaging

·      9.5 hours of reproductive medicine

·      A whopping 22+ hours of internal medicine

·      12.5 hours of Clinical Research presentations

·      7.5 hours of practical sessions

·      More than 5 hours of lectures dedicated to nurses, on top of all the cross-profession sessions

·      Around 18 hours of interesting, important and engaging non-clinical sessions

·      4 special social events

·      More than 6,500 bedrooms within a five-minute walk of the ICC

·      In 2022 a quarter of delegates came from each of the following groups: under 30, 30s, 40s, over 50s.

Learning sessions are delivered by many of the top speakers in their fields, enhanced by interactive opportunities including live debates and Q&As. Demonstrations and displays in the exhibition hall showcase new technologies and influential equine businesses, while networking across all elements of the industry is possible in convivial and effective environment.

Super early bird tickets for BEVA Congress are available until 31st May 2023. Tickets provide access to all lecture and exhibition halls as well as full access to the virtual congress hub. Delegates will have access to all Congress content for six months after the event via the hub.

“Whether you want to party it up every night or check into a spa hotel for a relaxing mini break vibe after a busy day of CPD lectures and networking, Congress can deliver,” said BEVA’s event manager Jocelyn Thompson. “We even have facilities for parents who need to bring children or babies along.”

Individual super early bird BEVA members prices are £198 per day for vets and £52 per day for nurses for all three days (with concessionary prices available for those in their first three years of graduation or earning less than £25,000). Day tickets are also available.
