Bristol Veterinary Practice Unveils Expansion

Vets for Pets has unveiled another fully refurbished practice as part of Pets at Home’s major rebrand, with a refresh and extension at Bristol Emersons Green.
The leading pet care business has refreshed its brand, including an evolution of the Vets for Pets brand, with almost 500-strong veterinary surgeries and practices set to rebrand over the next few years.
The new-look practice has officially reopened inside Pets at Home on Emersons Green Retail Park, following an extension and refurbishment which has increased the size of the practice by more than 500 sq. ft.
Established in 2014, Vets for Pets Bristol Emersons Green is run by a 28-strong team of highly skilled vets, advanced veterinary nurses, and experienced client care advisers. The team offers a wide range of veterinary healthcare services including orthopaedics, keyhole surgery, ultrasound, and laser therapy.
The extension has provided the practice with an additional theatre, new state-of-the-art equipment and two further consultation rooms, allowing the team to accommodate more appointments to meet with rising demand.
The extended facilities also mean colleagues have a larger area for surgery preparation, increased kennel space and a dedicated cat waiting area with specially designed cat box shelves built into the seats to boost the practice’s functionality and increase comfort for pets.
As well as providing upgraded facilities, the extension has created three more jobs in the industry.
Dr Carla Puime Costoya, Practice Owner and Veterinary Surgeon at Vets for Pets Bristol Emersons Green, said: “The extension has provided us with more space, so we are able to offer more appointments, more quickly, as well as carry out more surgical procedures in our new theatre.
“This will enable our team to scale up the industry leading work they do every day, addressing rising client demand and enhancing our offering. It’s been a real team effort, and it’s so rewarding to see all our hard work pay off.”
