Following the success of its one-day online congresses for veterinary nurses, The College of Animal Welfare (CAW) are excited to announce that, from 2027, they will be expanding their range of congresses and CPD to provide the same opportunities for veterinary surgeons.
One team, one price...
By matching the price of their veterinary nursing CPD, the new CPD for vets is affordable without compromising quality.
Whether you prefer online learning or in-person events, the vets CPD programme offers a range of opportunities to build your knowledge, develop new skills, and gain valuable CPD hours.
Virtual Congresses
The virtual congresses (delivered via zoom) for vets include ECC Congress, Clinical Cases Congress, Exotics and Small Furries Congress and Leadership Congress. Each congress gives 6 hours of CPD and is available from just £150 (Early Bird price).
In-Person CPD Events
For those who prefer in-person learning, there are practical CPD days that offer opportunities to develop skills in a supportive environment alongside experienced lecturers. These include ECG case studies, Emergency Surgery, and Leadership in Practice. Each of these gives 6 hours of CPD and is available from just £396.
Claire Gregory, CPD and Events Manager at The College of Animal Welfare, commented: "We have seen strong demand for our veterinary nursing congresses, with delegates valuing the combination of high-quality speakers, relevant content, ease of access and affordable pricing. We are delighted to extend this approach to veterinary surgeons, offering a diverse range of learning opportunities that support both clinical excellence and professional development."
The new programme reflects CAW's ongoing commitment to providing accessible education and lifelong learning opportunities for veterinary professionals across the UK.
