CVS Vets To Sponsor Pet Blood Bank Awards For Second Year Running
Charity Pet Blood Bank UK is excited to announce that CVS Vets is returning as the sponsor of their annual awards.
The Heart of Pet Blood Bank Award seeks to recognise inspiring people, practices, and dogs who go the extra mile to support the charity. With nomination categories that align with the charity’s core values, the awards offer an opportunity for those who contribute to the lifesaving work of Pet Blood Bank to be celebrated for their efforts.
The charity welcomes nominations from veterinary practices and individuals for anyone who has gone the extra mile in support of the cause.
Nicole Osborne from Pet Blood Bank UK said, ‘We are delighted to be receiving continued support from CVS Vets for our awards. Pet Blood Bank is a charity made up of a passionate, enthusiastic, and supportive community who consistently go above and beyond for us. We are so excited to recognise their contributions and be able to again thank them with these awards – and for a second year running with CVS’ support.’
Chief Executive of CVS Vets, Richard Fairman, said:
“The work Pet Blood Bank UK does is truly lifesaving and its impact is felt every single day by veterinary teams and the pets they care for. We are incredibly proud to support the Pet Blood Bank Awards once again, because these awards celebrate the extraordinary people, practices and donor dogs who give so much to the charity. Their commitment, compassion and dedication make an immense difference, and we are honoured to stand alongside Pet Blood Bank in recognising and supporting their vital work.”
The Heart of Pet Blood Bank awards ceremony will take place in June. To make a nomination, please visit www.petbloodbankuk.org/heart.
Pet Blood Bank is the only charity offering a lifesaving blood service for all dogs across the UK. Just like the human blood service, dog owners kindly bring their much loved companions to give blood at one of the charity’s many donation sessions across the country. This blood is then processed and stored, ready to be sent out to vets when they need it for a patient. The blood is truly lifesaving with every donation having the potential to help save up to four other dogs.
