Dr Ian Wright To Headline Free CPD Webinar On The Evolving Role Of Faecal Testing In Companion Animal Worm Control
Veterinary professionals and SQPs are invited to join leading parasite expert Dr Ian Wright for a free CPD-approved webinar exploring the growing importance of faecal testing in modern companion animal practice.
Hosted by rapid parasite diagnostics specialist Micron Agritech, the webinar, "Not Just a Gut Feeling: The Role of Faecal Testing in Cat and Dog Worm Control", will take place on 25 June 2026 at 7:00pm (BST) and will provide practical insights into how routine faecal testing can support more targeted, evidence-based parasite control strategies. Veterinary professionals can register for the webinar at: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/6817815210276/WN_myTFq4nHST6mBdvOPOQ5-w and as an added incentive, all attendees can enter a prize draw to win a ticket to the London Vet Show 2026.
As increasing attention is placed on responsible parasite management and reducing unnecessary treatments, veterinary teams are seeking ways to enhance diagnostic-led decision making. During the webinar, Dr Wright will examine the role that faecal testing can play in improving worm control protocols, client communication and clinical outcomes in both dogs and cats.
The session will cover:
- The most common companion animal parasites encountered in practice
- The role of faecal testing and the value it adds for veterinary teams and pet owners
- The benefits and limitations of currently available diagnostic methods
- Future developments in pet parasite testing
- A live Q&A session with Dr Wright
