Gower Vets in Swansea is holding a festive fun day on Saturday, December 9.
Festive Fun At Swansea Vet Practice Open Event
A popular Swansea vet practice is holding a festive fun day with plenty to do for the whole family
The open day at Linnaeus-owned Gower Veterinary Surgery takes place on Saturday, December 9, between 2.30pm and 5pm.
Those feeling peckish can enjoy some seasonal delights on arrival, while youngsters can take part in a reindeer trail with the chance to win prizes.
There’s also the opportunity for visitors to take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Upper Killay practice and gain insights into how their pets are cared for.
A Christmas market will also provide the opportunity to pick up some Christmas gifts from local suppliers, with stocking fillers including jewellery, chocolate, candles, and arts and crafts.
If that wasn’t enough, there will also be the chance to win fantastic prizes in a fundraising raffle with proceeds going to StreetVet, a pet portrait studio and information available about Gower Vets’ exclusive health plan for pets.
Chloe Frew, lead vet at Gower Vets, said: “Here at Gower we are really proud of our team and the care we take when looking after our patients. We are all looking forward to this wonderful opportunity to show our clients and the community how much we care.
“Some of our crafty colleagues have created some lovely handmade crafts for the market stalls. The rest of the team have worked hard behind the scenes to help with preparations and many are volunteering on the day to help things all go smoothly.
“StreetVet is a charity supporting homeless people and providing care to their pets that we felt is close to everyone's heart, especially through the colder winter months."
