New Vetstream Partnership Helps Clients To Optimise Video Use
Veterinary digital specialist Vetstream has joined forces with independent UK film studio Driftend Films to help its clients optimise the use of video on their websites and social media platforms.
Vetstream offers a range of digital services to the veterinary sector, including its Vetstream Webpartner suite of website design, online content and digital marketing tools. Driftend Films has produced a range of award-nominated short films and works with blue chip brands to produce bespoke digital content to support the delivery of personalised, integrated campaigns.
The role of video in successful content marketing is increasingly recognised with a recent conference paper suggesting that, during 2017, video content would account for 74% of internet traffic*. Dr Mark Johnston, Chief Executive of Vetstream, explained: “We are working with veterinary businesses across the UK which are keen to capitalise on the increasing interest in video content for social media. It is the most effective way to keep clients engaged and also contributes to enhanced SEO performance. There are so many ways veterinary businesses can use video, for instance, to give clients an insight into how their practice works or to provide useful veterinary tips.
“We have already worked with Driftend on a number of projects for clients and recently created a successful series of four short films for NAVC’s Spark! Video channel. We are looking forward to collaborating with them to help our clients improve the effectiveness of their content marketing programmes.”
Mr Harry Law, Director at Driftend Films, said: “Video is outperforming other media as an effective way for businesses to connect with their customers and, in the veterinary sector, the opportunities to create engaging video content involving animals are huge. Vetstream Webpartner’s websites are already helping veterinary businesses across the UK and we believe the addition of compelling and cost-effective video content will enable them to achieve even greater success.”

Vetstream is a Communications Partner of the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) and also one of its Global Educational Partners. In addition to Vetstream Webpartner and Vetlexicon, Vetstream offers Vetacademy, the company’s user-friendly online learning platform, provides the whole practice team with the ability to search and select from more than 300 courses from the world’s leading training and CPD providers.
