Starting a new job can be daunting. Interns are often a long way from home and struggle to find accommodation for a short-term internship.
Starting in June, Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists will have on-site housing available for interns during their one year internship, only a couple small steps from the practice. The house offers three bedrooms and has been newly refurbished for this purpose. We hope this new accommodation option will help to relieve some of the stress of finding housing and allow our interns to focus on their exciting new role. The bedrooms overlook a large garden, as well as plenty of fields surrounding the area being in the heart of the New Forest.
Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists have a number of different internships available, including rotating internships as well as discipline-specific internships. We are delighted to be able to offer this new benefit to further help our interns on their veterinary career journey.
