About this course
A rabbit with a gastric obstruction, a tortoise that been attacked by a fox, an egg-bound bird! What do you do when they walk through the door?
Do you want to learn how to provide emergency care to exotic species? Are you looking to advance your exotic species nursing? This course will cover the triage and ongoing care of a range of exotic species. Including rabbits, small mammals, reptile and amphibians and avian species. Including common presentations, stabilisation techniques and advanced life support.
We will discuss cases that you have seen, dive into how best we can approach these cases and build your knowledge to enable you to confidently care for any exotic species that walks through your door.
