The morning lectures will provide delegates with a practical evidence- based approach to managing the mare for insemination and approach to the subfebrile mare. Surgical reproductive procedures will then be discussed. The morning will conclude with a lecture on advanced assisted reproductive techniques currently utilised in equine reproduction. The afternoon will start with discussion of stallion management for breeding. The lab-based session in the afternoon will allow delegates carry out semen analysis and processing. Candidates will also be able to perform techniques used in a mare breeding soundness examinations, on specimens. The afternoon will conclude with an informal case-based discussion, covering a wide range of topics.

This workshop is suitable for vets in first opinion practice including those studying for an RCVS CertAVP.
