Suitable for you if you have some echocardiography experience or if you have attended the CPD Solutions Introduction to Cardiac Ultrasound course. The skills we will help you acquire on this course include pulsed wave Doppler, continuous wave Doppler, and colour flow Doppler. Hands on practical sessions will be interspersed with relevant theory including how to apply the Bernoulli equation to your clinical cases. Cardiac ultrasound machines will be provided, with an experienced, approachable course tutor to guide you.

Get to grips with ultrasound machines, probes and standard echocardiographic images
Diagnosis of congenital and acquired cardiac conditions
Indications for Doppler echocardiography
Hands-on practical sessions including 2D, M-mode and Doppler echocardiography
When, why and how to assess systolic function and diastolic function
