A day of seminars and case based practical sessions at the microscope to discover how much more you can glean from your haematology and cytology specimens.
Blood smears examination is a cornerstone of laboratory diagnostic investigation. Become proficient at making and examining blood smears to validate and expand on the findings of your automated analyser.
Cytology is a rapid and helpful tool in the diagnosis of cutaneous and subcutaneous masses. Develop a pragmatic and consistent approach to cytology of lumps and bumps to guide your approach to these lesions. The day also includes a session on ear cytology and how to get the most out of your microbiological testing.
