The Speakers

Shona moved to Manchester in 2011 to study a degree in Biomedical Science which has given her a broad scientific background. In 2014 she went on to study a PgDip in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Harper Adams University. She works at North West Veterinary Specialists as an in house Veterinary Physiotherapist where she works closely with the surgeons and treat dogs with acute neurological and orthopaedic conditionsShe is a member of the NAVP and RAMP which are two veterinary physiotherapy associations in the UK. She carries full professional and public liability insurance and has a qualification as a small animal hydrotherapist. Shona also works as a freelance physiotherapist and will do home visits for patients aswell as hydrotherapy work in rehabilitation centres.Veterinary physiotherapist
