Dogs Trust are hosting a new conference State of the Art of Dog Behaviour: From Science to Practice in Oxford on the 18th and 19th October 2019. The aim of the conference is to provide delegates with state-of-the-art lectures which review our current understanding of some key topics in the field of dog behaviour and training. The topics will cover both fundamental and applied aspects of behaviour and training, presented by a range of internationally recognised experts in the field, from Europe and the USA. The lectures are aimed at behaviour practitioners and trainers, as well as academics working in the field, but anyone is welcome! Dedicated discussion sessions are built into the programme to allow delegates an opportunity to ask questions and engage in open discussions around the topics covered. The aim of these sessions is to foster collegial debate about the state of knowledge within the field and where we still need to progress our understanding.Delegates also have the option of registering to attend an optional formal dinner held at St Hildas College.
