About this course
Laminitis is a common and debilitating disease of the equine foot. There has been considerable advancement in our knowledge of the pathogenesis of this devastating condition over the last 5-10 years. It is now believed that there are three forms of the disease which do not necessarily follow a final common pathway. This webinar based course will consist of two lectures covering the pathogenesis of the three forms of the disease as well as how to identify high risk individual animals, treat and prevent the condition. It is designed to give the practitioners who deal with horses an increased understanding of laminitis as well as the confidence to treat and prevent it.
Each webinar will run for one hour and there will be plenty of opportunity for interaction with the lecturer. The webinars will also be available in recorded form for every participant for two weeks after the live presentation – this will also include the lecturerparticipant questions and answers. All participants will have access to
the webinar for two weeks and receive a copy of the slides so they can review the presentations as many times as they wish to embed learning. Participants can earn two CPD hours.
The webinars will run on Tuesday 25th April 2017 and Tuesday 2nd May 2017 from 12:00 to 2:00pm GMT
