An unmissable opportunity for a veterinary physiotherapist has become available at our wonderful wellbeing centre that supports our primary care facility Guernsey Vets for Pets, just 20 minutes away.
Our team at Guernsey Vets for Pets work in a state of art facility equipped to a high standard with all the latest technologies, along with a cat and dog ward, an isolation unit, intensive care unit, and two operating theatres, one for orthopaedic procedures and the other dedicated to soft tissue and minimal invasive surgery.
The wellbeing centre therefore sees and supports a varied case load and is well equipped to support our patients in pain management, with a large rehab area and including a hydrotherapy tank, an underwater treadmill and the use of a class 4 LASER.
As well as our larger team at the main practice, you will be working alongside a small team at the wellbeing centre including our veterinary surgeon Vicky, qualified in 2003 and the wellbeing receptionist who has been with the team for 4 years.
As a veterinary physiotherapist you will need to be registered with one of the following professional bodies; IRVAP, NAVP, ACPAT or RAMP. The ideal candidate would also hold a Level 3 certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy, although further training can be provided to those without.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm with no weekends.
