The role
An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to lead our friendly team at Medivet Highgate in North London.
We work to a 4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends.
This role offers you the opportunity to really make it your own and drive the branch forward! It is situated in a beautiful part of London with lots of scope and potential to become a successful and thriving practice!
Full time salary package up to £67,369 per annum depending on experience to include:
- 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays
- 4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)

Key accountabilities
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' UK small animal practice, or UK equivalent, experience.
You must have a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further.
You will be confident working sole charge with the ability to make sound clinical judgement, however you will also have the support of eleven other practices in the region including certificate holders.

Medivet Highgate is a lovely practice with friendly clients. Highgate is a leafy residential area in the London suburbs with a quaint high-street. Highgate boasts plenty of gastro-pubs, tea rooms and beautiful 18th Century architecture.
This practice feeds into our local 24-Hour Hospital for all out of hour care where we have a dedicated night team. We also have an ambulance service within the region to transport any patients to be hospitalised.
