We are seeking a full time Rescue and Homing Officer to join our Rescue and Homing Team at our Lewisham Branch,
The position will be largely concentrated towards homing our rescued animals but requires flexibility to assist with and carry out rescue tasks when required.
The job involves:
Daily telephone and direct conversations and interviews with the public regarding animal adoption
Carry out home visit assessments to provide advice about adopting and caring for our rescue animals (mainly cats) and to assess suitability for adoption
Introductions between our rescue cats and potential animal adopters following a successful home assessment
Adminstration of records, adoption paperwork with follow up checks
The successful applicant must be totally dedicated and passionate about animal welfare.
