We are seeking an organised and proactive Stores Manager to take ownership of warehouse operations at our clients site in Athlone, Ireland. This role will suit someone who takes pride in maintaining an efficient, well organised workspace, and ensuring the engineers have all the parts and equipment they need.
Location: Athlone (with occasional travel to other depots)
Salary: €45,000 - €48,000 + bonus
The Role:
- Manage the day to day operations of the warehouse storage facility
- Receive and process deliveries, checking all incoming goods against orders
- Maintain accurate stock levels and distribution of parts and materials to engineering teams
- Ensure warehouse is kept organised, clean and compliant with safety procedures
- Manage and update the companies stock management system
- Conduct routine stock checks and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Collaborate with engineers to forecast stock requirements
The Successful Candidate:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistical management role is desirable
- Strong organisational and attentive to detail skills
- IT literate, ideally with experience of stock or job management systems
- Full driving licence and flexibility to travel occasionally between sites using company vehicle
