We’re working with a friendly, independently owned small animal practice in Kent, who are on the lookout for a Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team as soon as possible on an ongoing basis while they recruit permanently – with a permanent opportunity also available for the right person.
📅 The Role:
- Flexible on working hours (within opening hours of 8am–7pm)
- Saturday rota: 8:30am–1pm (shared)
- No out-of-hours

This is a purpose-built, independent small animal surgery located in a growing community close to Folkstone. Modern, spacious, and fully equipped for routine and advanced surgical procedures (including orthopaedics and thoracic surgery), the practice places equal emphasis on clinical excellence and compassionate care.
With separate wards and waiting areas for dogs, cats, and small furries, they’re proud to provide a calm and caring environment for patients and clients alike. The team is known for their honest, down-to-earth approach, and their reputation for putting animal welfare first is rapidly growing in the local community.
