Locum Vet Surgeon – Coastal Kent (Charity Practice)
Busy and rewarding charity small animal practice in Coastal Kent is looking for a confident Locum Vet Surgeon to provide ongoing cover while they recruit permanently. This is a hands‑on role with a genuinely varied and interesting caseload, ideal for a vet who enjoys clinical challenge and teamwork.
🩺 Role details
• Locum Vet Surgeon
• From 22nd June – ongoing
• 5 days per week (ideally no less)
• 8:30am–6:00pm
• Mix of consults and surgery
• Consult‑only vets also considered
🐾 Caseload & team
• Busy and exciting charity caseload
• High surgical exposure including pyometra and foreign bodies
• Working alongside 1 other Vet
• Supported by 6 Nurses and 6 VCAs
• 15‑minute consults for sick/injured patients
• 10‑minute consults for preventative work
ℹ️ Other information
• No weekends
• No on‑call or OOH
• Supportive, well‑structured team environment
• No accommodation available
