Locum Veterinarian Needed - Starting June, Ongoing
Our independent client based in Leicester is seeking a locum veterinarian to join their team, starting in June and with a long term contract being offered.
Schedule:
- Hours: 8:30 am to around 5:45 pm daily.
- Morning Routine: From 8:30 to 9:00 am, the team checks on inpatients and updates owners. Consults start at 9:00 am, ending at 11:15 am, with one vet handling operations.
- Afternoon Routine: Surgeries, prescriptions, lab results, and emergencies are managed after morning consults. Afternoon consults run from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
- Emergency Coverage: Phones switch to emergencies at 5:30 pm. On-call nights appreciated but not mandatory.
- Team: Experienced RVNs and a friendly reception team support the vet.
- Rate: £450 - £550 per day
Qualifications:
- DVM degree or equivalent.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
